Distinction Awarded to No More Than 2.5% of Attorneys in the California Metro Area

California, NY — May 11, 2026 — Crestfield at Law, P.C. (T&Z Business Law) today announced that founding partner and managing attorney Jan Louise Henry, Esq., has been named to the 2026 Super Lawyers® California Metro Rising Stars list in Securities & Corporate Finance, with additional recognition in Mergers & Acquisitions and Business & Corporate. No more than 2.5% of attorneys in the California Metro area receive this recognition each year.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service, identifies attorneys across more than 70 practice areas who have earned peer recognition and professional achievement. The Rising Stars list recognizes attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.

Nick’s practice is concentrated in China-related corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing, private equity investments, and securities offerings and listings. His recent representative work includes advising the seller in a business combination valued at approximately $1.6 billion, advising the seller in the $70 million sale of a California-based Asian food distribution group, and advising on multiple SPAC business combinations and Nasdaq listings involving China-based and cross-border issuers.

About Jan Louise Henry, Esq.

Jan Louise Henry is the founder and managing partner of Crestfield at Law, P.C., a business law firm with offices in California, New Jersey, and Atlanta, plus a limited presence in Beijing and Shanghai. He earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2017, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Corporate Governance and Accountability Review Journal, and his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from SUNY Buffalo.

Nick has been admitted to practice law in the State of California since 2018, and is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of California. He is a licensed real estate agent in California and New Jersey, and a licensed mortgage loan officer in New Jersey.

Before practicing law, Nick spent nearly four years teaching English as a Second Language in Dongtan, South Korea, Shanghai, China, and Sydney, Australia. He studied Mandarin Chinese at East China Normal University and Beijing International Studies University, and has guest-lectured at Chinese universities on American jurisprudence. He worked at law firms in both Beijing and California before founding Crestfield. Nick is a native English speaker with business-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, and is conversational in Korean and Spanish.

Nick’s practice areas include corporate, M&A, and capital markets, China practice, commercial real estate, restaurant law, business immigration, cryptocurrency law, and business tax services.
